Senior Architect – Cork

About the role

An award‑winning architectural design studio in Cork is looking for a Senior Architect to join its growing team. You will work on a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, industrial and retail projects across Ireland, taking responsibility for design development and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and development of mixed‑use, commercial, retail and residential projects.
• Manage project documentation, ensuring compliance with Irish planning and building regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and clients to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare and present design proposals, reports and BIM models to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to the studio’s design culture.

Required profile

• Registered Architect (RIAI or RIBA) with at least 3 years post‑professional experience.
• Proven experience running commercial, retail, residential or mixed‑use projects.
• Strong understanding of Irish planning and building regulations.
• Excellent communication, organisational and presentation abilities.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Required skills

• Full BIM proficiency.
