Senior Engineer – Hotel Extension Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead the engineering side of a €25M+ hotel extension in the Johnstownbridge area, North Kildare/Meath Border. The role focuses on quality assurance, site coordination and comprehensive documentation within a well‑structured traditional build.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day engineering support on site.
• Maintain high standards of quality control across all works.
• Manage site documentation, records and as‑built information.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and the site management team.
• Support the smooth delivery of programme milestones.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and health & safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or strong Site Engineer.
• Solid background in traditional construction projects (commercial or residential).
• Strong focus on quality, detail and documentation.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within an established site team.
