Senior Finance Data Scientist

About the role

Fin is looking for a Senior Finance Data Scientist to own and evolve its revenue engine. You will design production‑grade forecasting models that turn complex customer behavior into actionable financial signals, helping the company predict ARR, expansion, and churn.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain probabilistic and time‑series models that forecast usage‑based revenue, renewals, and expansion.
• Incorporate behavioral signals such as product adoption, seat utilization, and feature engagement into expansion propensity and LTV frameworks.
• Design models that account for cohort dynamics, seasonality, and product‑led growth signals.
• Evaluate model performance through backtesting and continuous iteration.
• Own the end‑to‑end data pipeline for finance, creating curated datasets that serve as a single source of truth.
• Automate forecasting workflows to increase speed, reliability, and granularity of financial planning.

Required profile

• Strong financial intuition combined with deep technical rigor.
• Experience navigating raw data warehouses and translating data into strategic insights for leadership.
• Proven ability to develop and iterate predictive models for revenue, churn, and customer lifetime value.
• Comfort with open‑ended, high‑impact problems and a data‑driven decision‑making mindset.
