Senior International Tax Analyst – EMEA

About the role

Amazon’s EMEA Foreign Reporting and Compliance team in Cork is looking for a Senior International Tax Analyst. You will support senior tax managers on international tax reporting, provision, and audit matters across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Support international tax compliance and reporting for M&A, business expansions and internal restructurings across EMEA.
• Collaborate with US and international tax controversy teams on tax audits throughout the region.
• Drive process improvements and work with Direct Tax Technology teams to automate recurring tax calculations and corporate tax requirements.
• Manage audit‑readiness projects and programmes for the EMEA Foreign Reporting and Compliance team.
• Research, document and communicate technical tax and tax accounting issues across EMEA.
• Engage external advisors to interpret new laws and regulations and assess their impact on Amazon’s structure.
• Review international components of Amazon’s worldwide income‑tax provision.
• Support income‑tax return compliance and accounting under IFRS, US GAAP and related standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate tax department.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, CTA or equivalent.
• Solid experience with domestic and/or international tax and tax accounting.
