Senior Legal Counsel - Regulatory Legal

About the role

Apple is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Products & Regulatory Legal Group. You will work closely with engineering, operations, government affairs and marketing teams to provide legal guidance on complex regulatory matters affecting Apple’s products and services worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the applicability of EU regulations such as the Data Act, AI Act, Cyber Resilience Act, NIS 2, Digital Fairness Act and Digital Networks Act to Apple products and services.
• Coordinate and, when needed, lead engagements with regulatory authorities across the EMEIA region.
• Collaborate with other Apple legal groups, government affairs, and cross‑functional business and engineering teams.
• Advise senior management on risk allocation, mitigation strategies and policy development.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of experience handling regulatory matters (EU privacy/data laws, AI laws, cyber‑security laws, digital regulations) in a law firm, in‑house legal department, or regulatory authority.
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build relationships with executive management and cross‑functional partners.
• Strong analytical abilities and business sense to resolve complex issues creatively.
• Self‑starter attitude, curiosity about technology and comfort in a fast‑moving environment.
