Senior Manager, HR Business Partner

About the role

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is hiring a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner. The role is hybrid (3 days in the office and 2 days from home) and is open to candidates based in either Reading (UK) or Dublin (Ireland). It is a strategic partnership with business leaders, delivering HR expertise aligned with organisational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee human resources delivery, coach the team and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies supporting business objectives.
• Advise on talent acquisition, performance management and succession planning.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote inclusivity and collaboration.
• Analyse workforce metrics and trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related discipline.
• Proven management experience and extensive experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR leadership role, ideally in healthcare or clinical research.
• Strong understanding of HR practices, labour laws and compliance.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills and use of data to shape HR strategy.
