Senior National Account Manager – FMCG (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior National Account Manager to lead key retail relationships for a portfolio of premium FMCG brands. The role offers a flexible hybrid/remote working model and the chance to manage some of the biggest accounts in Ireland and the UK, including Dunnes, Musgrave, and Tesco.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for multiple retail customers.
• Achieve forecasted revenue and budget targets across assigned brands.
• Manage price promotions and trade spend in line with allocated budgets.
• Produce accurate SKU‑level sales forecasts on schedule.
• Create and deliver Joint Business Plans and trade strategies with key customers.
• Collaborate with commercial finance and trade marketing to design profitable promotional programmes.
• Analyse complex data sets and present actionable solutions.
• Learn from past executions and continuously optimise future plans.
• Lead and mentor team members to foster growth and performance.

Required profile

• Extensive sales experience in managing multiple FMCG retail accounts.
• Degree in a business‑related field or equivalent experience.
• High commercial awareness with strong negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• Proven planning, organising and resilience, able to work independently.
