About the role
We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager to join our Stryker Tullagreen manufacturing site in Cork. You will be a key member of the Site Leadership Team, responsible for site strategy, capacity planning and overseeing new product introductions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day production to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery of products.
- Set performance targets for business units and take corrective action on negative trends.
- Lead high‑performing teams, mentor other Operations Managers and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure capacity planning meets or exceeds customer requirements.
- Champion safety, quality, people development and compliance with internal and external audits.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in production management.
- Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong business acumen, leadership skills and ability to develop talent.
- Experience with inventory management, MRP systems and measurement tools.
Required skills
- Mechanical/Production Engineering knowledge
- Proficiency with MRP and inventory systems
- PC literacy and use of measurement tools
