Senior Project Architect

About the role

MDO Architects, an award‑winning design‑focused practice, is looking for a Senior Project Architect to join its diverse team. You will lead the delivery of residential, hospitality, workplace and commercial projects, ensuring they are executed safely, on time and within budget while preserving the original design intent.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project execution from concept through construction, coordinating design, technical and construction phases.
• Manage design teams, collaborate with contractors, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Maintain BIM workflow using Revit throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with Irish building codes, regulations and material specifications.
• Control project budgets, schedules and quality standards.

Required profile

• Registered Architect with at least 4 years of professional experience.
• Strong design, technical and construction knowledge.
• Experience in project management within the Irish construction industry.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate construction documentation.
