Site Agent

About the role

The Site Agent will lead a multidisciplinary site team to deliver construction projects safely, on time, and within budget. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring high‑quality execution across urban and rural sites.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects, supervising staff, operatives and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers and surveyors, attending regular progress meetings.
• Determine and manage resources (manpower, plant, equipment, materials) from start‑up to completion.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, and liaise with purchasing to secure appropriate purchase orders.
• Interpret contract documents, manage temporary and permanent works design, and obtain required certifications.
• Monitor progress, finance, HSQE, risks and opportunities, reporting to the Regional Director.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, client progress reports and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with HSQE management systems, safety standards, permits, licences and legal requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Member of a relevant professional institution, Chartered status (or working towards it).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Site Agent.
• Full clean EU/Irish driver licence.
• Authorized to work in Ireland (Stamp 4).
