Site Manager – Construction (Clondalkin)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our construction project in Clondalkin. The role combines health & safety oversight, quality control, programme management and stakeholder liaison to ensure the site runs safely, on schedule and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain health & safety compliance, conduct inductions, monitor risk assessments, method statements and report incidents.
• Oversee site logistics including welfare facilities, loading areas, roadways and subcontractor zones.
• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures, prepare Inspection and Test Plans and use BIM to track compliance.
• Manage short‑term subcontractor programmes, update daily diaries and report progress against the master schedule.
• Control commercial records, material deliveries and liaise with quantity surveyors for cost control.
• Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, building control authorities and ensure effective communication across the site team.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction sites with a strong focus on health & safety and quality.
• Ability to supervise multidisciplinary crews, coordinate subcontractors and resolve on‑site issues promptly.
• Excellent organisational skills and familiarity with statutory regulations and building codes.

Required skills

• BIM (Building Information Modelling) utilisation for inspections and approvals.
• Preparation and implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
• Health & Safety Management, including risk assessments and method statements.
• QA/QC processes and non‑conformance reporting (NCRs).
• Construction scheduling and daily diary production.
• Site logistics and material tracking.
