Software Engineer III – Full Stack (3 positions)

About the role

Rent The Runway’s Galway technology hub is looking for three Full‑Stack Software Engineer III to build and enhance the microservices that power its internal mobile app, website and warehouse operations. You will work on new product features and technical improvements across its Transportation Management System, Availability/Reservations System and Warehouse Management System, including automation technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of agile development – design, implementation, testing and deployment of microservices on Google Cloud Platform.
• Identify and implement architectural and design improvements to boost performance of key product features.
• Develop clean, testable and scalable systems using Java, Kotlin, Spring and related technologies.
• Contribute to the home‑grown Transportation Management, Availability/Reservations and Warehouse Management systems, as well as warehouse automation tools such as robotic sortation, RFID and a PWA for rugged Android devices.

Required profile

• Strong experience in full‑stack development within a microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with continuous integration, test‑driven development, peer code reviews and pair programming.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile, fast‑moving environment.
