Support Pharmacist – Part‑time (2‑3 days/week) in Portarlington

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Support Pharmacist to work 2‑3 days per week at our Portarlington branch. You will join a friendly, community‑focused pharmacy group recognised as one of Ireland’s Best Workplaces 2023.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising pharmacy operations, including staff management, stock control and housekeeping.
• Carry out dispensary tasks in line with PSI legislation and dispensing best practices.
• Provide support to dispensary staff and colleagues across the branch as needed.
• Mentor less‑experienced team members and help maintain high standards of customer service.

Required profile

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Customer‑focused, courteous and compassionate.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well‑organised with good administrative abilities.
• Flexible to work occasional Saturdays and able to handle pressure during busy periods.
