Training Coordinator – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

The Training Coordinator will join AbbVie’s manufacturing team in Carrigtwohill, Cork on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive onboarding and training programme for new and existing operators, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver safety inductions, ILT sessions and paper‑based training for all new hires.
• Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) to guarantee that no employee has overdue training.
• Update and manage the digital training matrix on a monthly basis.
• Develop weekly and monthly cross‑training plans in partnership with production managers and supervisors.
• Control the storage and retention of all training documentation within the plant.
• Collaborate with safety and quality teams to use Green Button data for targeted improvements.
• Ensure JSTM records are current and that all operators meet compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven ability to coordinate large‑scale training programmes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with multiple departments.
