Accommodation Assistant – Hotel Housekeeping

About the role

The Ardilaun Hotel is seeking an Accommodation Assistant to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across our 123 luxury bedrooms and public areas. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences in a historic 4‑star hotel located in Galway.

Key responsibilities

• Service guest bedrooms to a very high standard, ensuring cleanliness and presentation.
• Maintain hygiene in bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas.
• Collect, distribute and replenish clean linen and towels throughout the hotel.
• Remove used linen and return it to the laundry area.
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure attention to detail.
• Adhere to safety and security standards in all tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service during guest interactions.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to follow schedules and work independently when required.
• Attention to detail and teamwork orientation.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to comply with health, safety and security procedures.
