About the role

The Maritime Hotel in Bantry is seeking enthusiastic Accommodation Porters to join its busy team. The position is designed for students, offering full‑time hours over the summer and part‑time hours from September, allowing you to earn and save before returning to college.

Key responsibilities

• Support Accommodation Assistants with linen, supplies, and equipment.
• Deliver fresh linen to rooms and collect used linen from floors.
• Assist with room turnovers and keep public areas tidy.
• Maintain storage areas clean, organised, and fully stocked.
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Collaborate closely with the Accommodation Supervisor and wider team.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and stay on your feet for extended periods.
• Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• No prior experience required – full training provided.
