About the role

Google Customer Solutions is looking for an Account Strategist to help small‑ and medium‑sized businesses across Sub‑Saharan Africa grow with Google’s advertising solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating client needs into effective digital marketing strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of medium‑sized businesses, understand their growth drivers and create multi‑quarter plans.
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Agency and Accelerated Growth Team to ensure execution and accountability.
  • Develop creative approaches to strengthen customer relationships and share performance‑enhancing recommendations.
  • Identify key stakeholders, including C‑level executives, to support annual digital marketing plans.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media or marketing.
  • Fluent English communication skills for client engagement across the region.
  • Proven ability to own a portfolio, exceed quotas and drive growth.
