Architect – Pre-Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architect to join our Pre‑Construction team. You will work on complex, high‑value projects such as data centres, advanced technology facilities, life‑science labs and other mission‑critical sites, shaping design solutions from tender through to construction.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural designs during tender and pre‑construction phases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to develop and refine project solutions.
• Identify and assess alternative construction methods and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Evaluate construction methodologies, programme implications and temporary‑works requirements.
• Prepare subcontract packages and assess technical and commercial proposals.
• Support development of lifting strategies, crane plans and site‑logistics arrangements.
• Identify project risks and propose practical mitigation measures.
• Assist the pre‑construction team in delivering competitive, high‑quality tender submissions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Architecture (M.Arch) or equivalent professional qualification.
• 5+ years of experience as an architect within construction or design.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, construction detailing and building systems.
• Good knowledge of civil and structural aspects of construction projects.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience on large‑scale commercial, industrial, data‑centre or mission‑critical projects is highly desirable.
