Asbestos Site Manager

About the role

Rhodar is seeking an experienced Asbestos Site Manager to lead removal projects across the Midlands and South‑West region. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, compliant execution of asbestos work while managing teams and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee asbestos removal operations on multiple sites, ensuring adherence to current H&S and asbestos regulations.
• Coordinate site activities, manage resources and schedules, and re‑prioritise tasks as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation, health & safety records, and commercial reporting.
• Induct and supervise staff, including SAFEguard and UKATA training where needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Clean driving licence.
• SAFEguard induction (capable of inducting others).
• Three‑day UKATA Asbestos Abatement Supervisor course (internal or external).
• Valid CAR medical and face‑fit certification.
• Relevant certifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, IPAF.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong numeracy and basic commercial understanding.
• Negotiation and computer literacy.
