Assistant QA - Building Envelope Systems

About the role

Crown, Europe’s leading specialist roofing, cladding and façade contractor, is looking for an Assistant QA to support the delivery of building envelope projects across Europe. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop a career in quality assurance within a fast‑paced construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of project quality plans and procedures.
• Carry out site inspections and quality checks to ensure works comply with specifications and approved drawings.
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of quality documentation, inspection records and reports.
• Support the management of non‑conformances and corrective actions.
• Work closely with project teams, subcontractors and clients to maintain quality standards throughout all project phases.
• Assist with internal and external audits and project handovers.
• Promote a culture of quality, compliance and continuous improvement on site.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma or trade qualification in Construction, Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1+ years’ experience in construction, QA/QC, engineering or site supervision (desirable).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Experience within roofing, cladding or façade systems is advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to work in a project‑based environment and travel as required.
• Fluent English is essential.
