BMS Commissioning Engineer – Pharma & Data Centre Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Building Management Systems (BMS) Commissioning Engineer to join our team on high‑profile pharmaceutical and data‑centre projects in Dublin. You will be involved from installation through to hand‑over, focusing on commissioning, software development and optimisation of complex BMS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Commission BMS systems on pharma and data‑centre sites.
• Develop, modify and optimise BMS software.
• Perform point‑to‑point checks, I/O validation and integrated systems testing.
• Support FAT/SAT activities and final system hand‑over.
• Collaborate with project managers, electrical contractors and client teams.
• Diagnose and resolve commissioning and software issues on live sites.
• Ensure systems meet performance, compliance and uptime requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer or Software Engineer.
• Background in pharmaceutical, data‑centre or other critical environments.
• Strong fault‑finding and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working on live construction sites and fast‑paced projects.

Required skills

• Trend, Tridium, Siemens and Distech BMS software.
• BMS architecture and networking.
• Field devices and I/O validation.
• FAT and SAT procedures.
• Software development for BMS platforms.
