Buyer / Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Buyer / Procurement Specialist to join our growing technology business delivering ICT, security and critical infrastructure solutions for data centre projects across Europe. The role will work closely with the Procurement Manager and project teams to source materials, manage suppliers and support successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure electrical, mechanical, ICT, security and power infrastructure components.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, lead times and commercial terms.
• Raise purchase orders, track procurement schedules and ensure alignment with project milestones.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance on quality, cost and delivery.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, commercial and logistics teams.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and reduce supply‑chain risk.
• Support material tracking and logistics coordination across multiple European locations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reporting and compliance with health & safety and contractual requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Buyer, Procurement Specialist or in a Supply Chain role.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Experience in construction, engineering, ICT, security or data‑centre environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and procurement systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced project environment.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
