Caregiver Trainer – Home Care Training Specialist

About the role

The Caregiver Trainer delivers high‑quality training and induction sessions for new and existing caregivers, ensuring they meet Dovida and HSE standards. This position combines teaching, mentoring, and compliance monitoring to support excellent home‑care services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging training sessions that reflect best practices in home care.
• Collaborate with recruitment, HR, and management teams to achieve training objectives.
• Create an inclusive, supportive learning environment and provide personalised support.
• Conduct assessments during induction and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Maintain compliance with Dovida quality standards and report on training KPIs.
• Deliver and refresh Manual Handling and Patient Handling classes, ensuring equipment compliance.
• Complete the New Caregiver NCCA after induction training.

• Excellent organisational and record‑keeping skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners.

Required skills

• Train the Trainer Delivery and Evaluation – Level 6 qualification (mandatory).
• Manual Handling Instructor – Level 6 qualification (mandatory).
• Patient Handling Instructor – Level 6 qualification (mandatory).
• Minimum one year experience in care management or extensive caregiver experience.
