Chief Executive Officer

About the role

The Chief Executive Officer will lead daa plc, the state‑owned operator of Dublin and Cork airports and the parent of ARI and daa International. Reporting to the Board, the CEO is responsible for overall leadership, management and strategic direction of the Group as it expands, transforms and pursues sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver strategic and operational objectives across domestic and international businesses.
• Lead major infrastructure, sustainability and growth programmes.
• Drive commercial performance and create shareholder value.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government, regulators and key stakeholders.
• Champion a world‑class customer experience and a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Proven track record leading large, complex, international and highly regulated organisations at senior level.
• Strong commercial leadership experience with a focus on operational excellence, growth and efficiency while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engagement with government bodies and regulators.
• Demonstrated ability to lead transformational change and deliver strategic outcomes in complex environments.
