Client Operations Manager - Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Client Operations Manager to lead client engagement and relationship management within the manufacturing sector, focusing on pharmaceutical and life‑science environments. The role acts as a trusted partner, guiding clients through digital transformation, AI, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture long‑term client relationships, ensuring continuity, value creation and mutual growth.
• Collaborate with internal Technical Services and AI Centre of Excellence to co‑create pilot projects, research initiatives and innovation programmes.
• Support clients in new product and process introductions, aligning activities with strategic road‑maps for AI, digital and manufacturing priorities.
• Apply Lean and operational‑excellence methodologies to identify improvement opportunities and scale repeatable services.
• Provide strategic reporting on client engagement pipelines and outcomes to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in client management, engagement or strategic account development, preferably in pharmaceutical or life‑science manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with quality systems, compliance and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven commercial excellence and ability to guide clients through structured introduction and scale‑up processes.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation, Industry 4.0 and AI/data‑driven technologies.
• Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills with a strategic mindset.
