Commercial Manager – €150k base salary

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing medium‑sized contractor specialising in fit‑out, commercial and industrial projects, is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial department. Based in Dublin with flexible WFH options, the role sits on the senior leadership team and drives commercial performance across all projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret contract documentation to ensure compliance and flag risks.
• Prepare cost reports, financial forecasts, valuations and reconciliations for effective contract management.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, suppliers and subcontractors throughout project delivery.
• Measure completed works, submit payment applications and manage interim and final accounts.
• Issue and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements in line with project timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of delays, variations, claims and contractual correspondence.
• Support preparation and management of contractual claims and cost allocation processes.
• Attend project and progress meetings, providing commercial and operational updates.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and report concerns or recommendations.
• Handle confidential information responsibly while promoting continuous improvement and team development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Full clean Irish/EU driving licence.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
