Concrete Foreman – Reinforced Concrete Frame Projects

About the role

PJ Hegarty is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead reinforced concrete works on a multi‑storey frame project in the Munster area. You will supervise day‑to‑day site activities, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and collaborate closely with the project team to deliver a high‑quality build.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all concrete works, including foundations, vertical and horizontal elements, slabs and cores for RC frames up to 5+ floors.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and direct labour to meet programme and quality targets.
• Enforce health and safety regulations on site and ensure statutory compliance.
• Monitor progress, productivity and sequencing; report status to the Project Manager.
• Liaise with design engineers and client representatives to resolve technical and buildability issues.
• Maintain accurate site records, permits, inspections and daily reports.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a Concrete Foreman on reinforced concrete frame structures.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and multiple contractors under tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards on construction sites.
