Construction Manager – Data Centre Infrastructure (Site-Based)

About the role

This is a high‑priority, site‑based Construction Manager position supporting the urbanisation, civils and external infrastructure phase of a major hyperscale data centre development in Dublin. You will be on‑site, representing the client and driving programme delivery across multiple contractor packages.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day delivery of civils, highways, utilities and external works.
• Manage Principal Contractor performance and coordinate multiple subcontractor interfaces.
• Review construction programmes, milestones, progress and mitigation plans for delay risks.
• Support CDM 2015 duties from a client‑side perspective, including Construction Phase Plans and welfare provisions.
• Liaise with statutory bodies, local authorities, utility providers and third‑party stakeholders.
• Produce progress updates, risk registers and status reports for senior stakeholders.
• Maintain strong control of H&S, quality, access, logistics, risk and site coordination.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of UK construction management experience, preferably on large civil/infrastructure projects.
• Extensive site‑based experience managing Tier 1/Tier 2 contractors.
• Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 and experience overseeing Principal Contractors.
• Confident communicator able to work independently and represent the client on‑site.

• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management (or equivalent)

• NEC3 and NEC4 contract awareness
• Temporary works design and management
• Asbestos awareness
• First Aid certification
• IOSH or equivalent health & safety training

What we offer

• Competitive salary €80,000‑€115,000 depending on experience.
• Permanent contract preferred, with contract options considered.
