Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager (Section Manager) leads all on‑site construction activities, ensuring health and safety, quality, and logistics are managed to meet project production targets. Working closely with the Project Manager, the role oversees the sequencing of trades, resource allocation, and overall site performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) systems and procedures on site.
• Oversee site logistics, deliveries, traffic management and security.
• Supervise subcontractors, forepersons and other site personnel.
• Coordinate site set‑up planning, plant, labour and overheads.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to adhere to the construction programme and minimise re‑work.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of site management experience.
• Experience across commercial, industrial, residential, fit‑out or refurbishment projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HSEQ management systems.
• Strong site logistics and traffic management capabilities.
• Construction programme planning and sequencing.
