Construction Manager – Residential Projects

About the role

The Land Development Agency (LDA) is seeking a Construction Manager to lead a portfolio of transformative residential and regeneration projects across Ireland. Reporting to the Head of Construction, you will oversee projects from planning through construction, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a diverse range of residential projects through the construction phase.
• Collaborate with development managers to progress projects through planning and detailed design.
• Manage design teams, contractors and consultants from technical, program and budgetary perspectives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and milestone programs.
• Coordinate with local authorities, development partners and utility providers.
• Ensure compliance with planning conditions, fire certificates and disability access requirements.
• Monitor contractual compliance of contractors and consultants.
• Identify commercial savings through innovative design, planning and procurement strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale residential construction projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive cost efficiencies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
