Mechanical Project Manager – Residential & Commercial

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical construction projects in both residential and commercial environments. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple mechanical projects from concept to completion, developing plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Review and coordinate mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications while ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.
• Oversee installation of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems in housing, apartments, offices, retail, and industrial buildings.
• Lead project teams, subcontractors, and site personnel; act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Control project finances, track costs, approve invoices, and ensure profitability.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontract services to meet project timelines.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and promote a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing mechanical projects in both residential and commercial construction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
• Professional certification such as PMP or Prince2 is a plus.
