Construction Manager – Residential & Regeneration Projects

About the role

The Land Development Agency is seeking a Construction Manager to lead a portfolio of transformative residential and regeneration projects across Ireland. Reporting to the Head of Construction, you will guide projects from planning through construction, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction delivery for residential projects, supporting development managers through planning and detailed design phases.
• Manage design and construction teams, overseeing technical, program and budgetary aspects.
• Plan, organise and direct project activities, developing schedules and milestone programmes.
• Engage with stakeholders including local authorities, development partners and utility providers.
• Ensure contractor and consultancy compliance with contracts and planning conditions.
• Oversee large‑scale main contractors and design teams, handling planning permission, fire certification and disability access applications.
• Identify commercial savings through innovative design, planning and procurement strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large residential or regeneration projects.
• Strong technical and commercial acumen with a collaborative, adaptable mindset.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
