CSA Construction Manager – Data Centres (Freelance)

About the role

This freelance position offers an experienced CSA Construction Manager the chance to lead civil, structural and architectural works for hyperscale data centre projects in Dublin. You will act as the client’s on‑site representative, ensuring safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery of foundation and structural packages.

Key responsibilities

• Lead CSA construction activities from design review through commissioning and handover.
• Manage and monitor general contractors, subcontractors, consultants and vendors to meet milestones and quality standards.
• Review and challenge construction schedules, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate closely with MEP, commissioning, operations, design, procurement and commercial teams.
• Chair regular project meetings and provide clear progress updates.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and quality reviews to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Review RFIs, technical submissions, design changes and non‑conformance issues.
• Support commissioning, project close‑out and handover activities.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior construction management on large‑scale projects.
• Extensive experience delivering hyperscale data centre projects.
• Proven track record managing full lifecycle of CSA packages on mission‑critical developments.
