About the role

Corrib Oil is looking for a motivated Deli Assistant to join its service station in Shannon. This flexible full‑time position involves preparing and serving high‑quality food while delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a range of food items efficiently and to a high standard.
• Manage daily kitchen operations, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and chilled products, under the direction of the Deli Manager.
• Maintain accurate stock levels, portion control, and waste management.
• Ensure the work area and equipment meet HACCP and cleanliness standards.
• Promote the Corrib Oil Customer Loyalty Programme during every customer interaction.
• Carry out deli checks as trained and uphold quality standards.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, Monday through Sunday.

• Strong focus on customer care with a friendly, service‑oriented attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Reliability and ability to follow food safety and hygiene procedures.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP compliance.
