Deli Team Member – Customer Service & Food Preparation

About the role

Join the Applegreen team in Portlaoise as a Deli Team Member, where you will play a key part in delivering a friendly, high‑quality food experience to customers. This front‑line position combines customer service, food preparation, and shop‑floor upkeep in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day operations of the deli, ensuring smooth service flow.
• Maintain a clean and tidy shop floor in line with health and safety standards.
• Follow all food‑safety policies and the Bakewell manual for safe food handling.
• Prepare and assemble food items, hot drinks, and bakery products.
• Manage stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and replenish supplies.
• Deliver an excellent food experience that meets customer expectations.
• Collaborate with management to achieve weekly and quarterly performance targets.
