Design Engineer – Water/Wastewater

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Design Engineer to support water and wastewater projects from the tender stage through construction. You will coordinate design inputs, manage consultant deliverables, engage with clients, and assist internal teams across all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Review RFP documentation and coordinate pricing from consultants and subcontractors.
• Develop design proposals, programmes, and methodologies for submission.
• Organise and manage site surveys and design deliverables during project mobilisation.
• Liaise with internal teams and designers to ensure timely progress and constructability input.
• Support planning, permitting, and CPO processes as needed.
• Manage and submit design change orders and progress updates.
• Present designs at key milestones and finalise construction documentation.
• Provide ongoing design coordination and support during the construction phase.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in design coordination or civil engineering.
• Familiarity with utility infrastructure, specifically water and wastewater projects.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Experience with GIS tools.
• Competence in MS Office.
