DevOps Engineer

About the role

Payslip is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join its growing international team. You will work closely with the VP of Engineering & Site Reliability and development squads to design, automate, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure that powers intelligent payroll automation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creation of a best‑in‑class DevOps organization with an “automate everything” mindset.
• Promote and implement AWS services to meet business demand automatically.
• Collaborate in a Scrum team to take features from design through deployment.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated tests from the QA team.
• Develop “always‑on” deployment strategies with monitoring and rollback capabilities.
• Enforce Infrastructure‑as‑Code for all resources using Terraform.
• Handle outages and security incidents, providing root‑cause analysis and mitigation actions.
• Configure and improve monitoring systems for rapid response to critical alerts.

Required profile

• Strong experience with AWS services and a solid understanding of cloud‑native architectures.
• Hands‑on expertise in Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience managing incidents, performing post‑mortems, and implementing preventive measures.
