Director, Credit & Accounts Receivable

About the role

The Global Director of Credit and Accounts Receivable will lead the Collections function across multiple geographies, reporting to the Senior Director of Order‑to‑Cash. Based in Dublin (or Cork) with a hybrid working model, this senior leader will shape strategy, drive technology adoption, and ensure SOX‑compliant processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, tech‑driven collections strategies for early, mid and late‑stage delinquency.
• Oversee and refine collections processes, including payment reminders, delinquency management, bankruptcy handling and account suspension.
• Collaborate with revenue management to align credit risk assessment and compliance.
• Develop credit strategies to identify and remediate emerging portfolio hot‑spots.
• Lead continuous process improvements through automation and workflow redesign.
• Manage and coach a global collections team using performance analytics, behavioral insights and real‑time dashboards.
• Create reporting dashboards and KPIs to track performance, identify trends and support executive decisions.
• Partner with the Marketplace OTC team to improve billing, collection and cash‑application processes and oversee AR ledger clean‑up.
• Ensure alignment of strategic initiatives, policies and technologies across all regions.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive experience in global accounts receivable, credit and collections.
• Minimum 10 years in a leadership position overseeing large, multi‑site teams.
• Deep knowledge of Order‑to‑Cash processes, including cash application and billing within a technology‑focused environment.
• Hands‑on experience delivering OTC transformation projects.
• Proven ability to drive process excellence, automation and data‑driven decision making.
