Director of Operations – Luxury Hotel (Co. Wicklow)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead a prestigious luxury hotel in Co. Wicklow. The role will oversee all operational aspects, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and strong financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all hotel departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Lead, mentor, and develop departmental management teams.
• Drive exceptional guest service standards throughout the property.
• Monitor operational performance and implement improvements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and hospitality standards.
• Collaborate with senior management on business strategy and operational planning.
• Manage staffing levels, labour costs, and operational efficiencies.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain strong communication across all hotel departments.

Required profile

• Previous experience within the hospitality industry.
• Experience in a senior management role or readiness to step forward.
• Strong operational background in a luxury hotel environment (preferred).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate large teams.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Current residence in Ireland with legal right to work in ROI.
