Document Controller

About the role

Collen is seeking a Document Controller to join its SHEQ team. The role focuses on managing project documentation, ensuring safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards are upheld, and supporting a culture of inclusivity and wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Manage document control for the SHEQ team, including archiving, storage and retrieval of project files.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date register of all documentation and contribute to document‑management procedures.
• Process drawings, technical submittals, method statements and collate reports for the SHEQ team.
• Assist in delivering the quality assurance programme and support regulatory audits and quality checks.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and handle confidential communications professionally.
• Complete administrative tasks to support the wider team and ensure Collen SHEQ standards are maintained.
• Promote Collen’s core values and foster a culture of wellness at work.

Required profile

• 3rd level qualification in a business or construction‑related field (preferred but not essential).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar document‑control role.
• Experience using a document‑control or file‑sharing system.
• Good working knowledge of construction‑related documents.
• Excellent IT and organisational skills.
• Strong ability to collaborate within a high‑performance team.
• Fluency in English.
