Electrical Site Manager – Commercial & Industrial Projects

About the role

Mastertech Group is looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead electrical works on commercial, residential and industrial projects across Dublin and surrounding areas. This field‑based position ensures safety, quality and compliance while supporting the delivery of high‑standard projects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electricians, apprentices and sub‑contractors on site.
• Enforce quality and health‑and‑safety procedures and conduct regular inspections.
• Verify that all electrical work complies with current regulations.
• Monitor progress, report damages and constraints, and manage material stock levels.
• Coordinate material call‑offs, deliveries and on‑site paperwork.
• Attend safety, coordination and progress meetings.
• Assist specialist sub‑contractors during commissioning and demonstrations.
• Maintain as‑built documentation for operations and maintenance.
• Use project‑management software where required (training provided).

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Electrical (or equivalent) and a copy of certification.
• Minimum 5 years experience in industrial/commercial environments.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of health & safety statutory requirements.
• Safe Pass, manual handling knowledge; first‑aid training preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.
