Enhanced Nurse (RNID) – Adult Services

About the role

Enable Ireland is seeking a motivated Enhanced Nurse (RNID) to join its Adult Services team in the Clare region. The role involves delivering nursing care and supporting personal care, mobility and community access for adults with disabilities in both physical and virtual day‑service settings.

Key responsibilities

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to implement daily programmes for service users.
• Provide nursing duties, personal care assistance and mobility support.
• Facilitate access to community services and virtual day‑service activities.
• Promote person‑centred planning and develop options that meet individual needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical and administrative records.

Required profile

• RNID qualification recognised for practice in the Republic of Ireland.
• Registered with the Intellectual Disability Nurse Division of the NMBI.
• At least 1 year and 16 weeks of relevant nursing experience post‑qualification.
• Annual NMBI registration and eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Full clean driver’s licence and willingness to drive service transport.
• Basic IT competence.
