Enterprise Risk Manager

About the role

Monzo Europe is expanding across the EU and is looking for an Enterprise Risk Manager to embed risk management across the organisation and support safe, sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with first‑line teams to embed enterprise risk management activities throughout the business.
• Coordinate and maintain the Risk Appetite Framework and Statement across the EU, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s attitude to risk.
• Lead the refresh of enterprise risk identification and materiality assessment processes for all material risks.
• Execute risk horizon scanning and emerging risk assessments, coordinating impact analyses across business lines.
• Promote a strong enterprise risk culture and support governance standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise risk management within a regulated financial environment.
• Understanding of Central Bank fitness and probity standards and ability to meet Conduct Standards.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and maintain risk governance frameworks and risk appetite statements.
