Experienced Bricklayer – Relocation to Ireland

About the role

We are a reputable construction firm operating in Ireland and are looking for experienced bricklayers willing to relocate. The role involves delivering high‑quality brick and block work across residential, commercial and civil projects while adhering to Irish building standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lay bricks, blocks and other masonry units to construct walls, foundations, arches and partitions according to drawings.
• Mix mortar and grout to the correct consistency and apply it accurately.
• Cut and shape bricks or blocks using hand tools and power tools as required.
• Ensure all work is level, plumb and aligned to high workmanship standards.
• Interpret building plans, drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with other trades on site and maintain a clean, safe working environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years proven bricklaying experience on construction sites.
• Recognised trade qualification or completed apprenticeship (e.g., QQI Level 6, City & Guilds, South African Occupational Certificate).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in varied weather.
• Valid passport, clean criminal record and South‑African driver’s licence.
• Willingness to relocate to Ireland.
