Facilities Manager

About the role

The Facilities Manager oversees the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance, safety and efficiency of the company’s buildings and workplace environments. This role ensures that all sites are safe, compliant and provide a productive setting for employees, visitors and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and maintenance of office facilities, ensuring cleanliness, functionality and compliance with company standards.
• Plan office space, coordinate moves, and lead facilities‑related projects such as refurbishments and relocations.
• Schedule repairs, oversee contractor activities and monitor building systems including HVAC, security, utilities and equipment.
• Ensure health, safety and fire‑safety compliance through regular inspections, risk assessments and emergency procedures.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with external suppliers, monitoring performance against SLAs and KPIs.
• Control facilities budgets, track expenditures, identify cost‑saving opportunities and approve invoices.
• Serve as the primary contact for employee workplace queries and coordinate services such as reception, catering, cleaning and parking.
• Drive sustainability initiatives and continuous‑improvement projects to enhance the employee experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities or workplace management.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and building compliance.
• Experience managing vendors, contracts and budgets.
• Ability to lead projects and support workplace improvement initiatives.
