Finance Transformation Team Member

About the role

Zurich Life Assurance plc is seeking a Finance Transformation Team Member to support the Finance Department in enhancing data management and automation across the Finance Function. The role can be part‑time or full‑time, with flexibility discussed during interview.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain technology‑enabled solutions that automate Finance processes and integrate with Finance Data platforms.
• Prepare, review and test code and solutions to ensure accuracy, consistency and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with Finance teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into data‑driven solutions.
• Document processes, user guidance, data definitions, lineage and ownership for automated solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve Finance processes and data usage, fostering continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in a finance, data or analytics role.
• Third‑level qualification with strong financial or data analytics content.
• Strong numeracy, attention to detail and confidence working with large financial datasets.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self‑starter with a strong work ethic, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Python programming (writing, testing, maintaining code).
• SQL Server database experience (queries, table design, maintenance, relational models).
