Financial Accountant

About the role

We are partnering with a market‑leading FMCG organisation in Dublin to hire a Financial Accountant for their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to gain exposure to a dynamic commercial environment and develop within a high‑performing finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Execute month‑end close activities and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support statutory reporting and external audits.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong financial reporting and analytical abilities.
• Training in a Top 10 accounting practice is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and eager to develop within a global organisation.
