Financial Controller

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing organisation to recruit a Financial Controller who will lead the finance function across a diverse portfolio of property, hospitality and investment assets. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial information, driving budgeting processes and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and board reports.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning cycles.
• Manage cash flow, treasury activities and banking relationships.
• Oversee financial controls, compliance, tax and audit requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support property, hospitality and investment operations.
• Develop financial models and business cases for growth initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
• Partner with senior management to drive performance and strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA).
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in property, hospitality, construction or a related sector.
• Strong analytical, commercial and leadership capabilities.

• Advanced Excel.
• Financial systems proficiency.
• Financial modelling.
