About the role
We are seeking a motivated first‑year apprentice to join our motor‑vehicle service team at ZuCar Cork. The apprenticeship provides a structured four‑year pathway to become a fully qualified Motor Technician with a nationally recognised Level 6 Advanced Certificate.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing and repairs on a range of motor vehicles.
- Detect, diagnose and record faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
- Perform corrective work safely and in line with manufacturers’ and industry guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to ensure high‑quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Required profile
- Strong interest in motor vehicles and a minimum grade in English, Maths and a science‑based subject.
- Enthusiastic, committed and analytical with a methodical approach to problem‑solving.
- High regard for customer care, professionalism and safety.
- Possession of a full, clean Irish or EU driving licence and eligibility to work full‑time in Ireland.
