Food & Beverage Assistant – Hotel

About the role

Join the dynamic team at Glashaus Hotel as a Food & Beverage Assistant. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional service across the restaurant, bar and events areas, ensuring every guest experience exceeds expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the restaurant, bar, events and all food & beverage areas, keeping them clean, organized and presentable.
• Provide attentive service, promote menu items, wine, cocktails and suggestive selling.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly, escalating to the manager when needed.
• Process all transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Manage stock control, including date rotation and inventory checks.
• Complete operational checklists for the bar on an hourly, daily or weekly basis.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other team members to uphold standards and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Full understanding of food & beverage menus and allergen awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Willingness to adhere to uniform and grooming standards.

Required skills

• POS system operation.
• Stock control and date rotation.
